Description: This listing is for a 1990s Tekserve Apple Specialist t-shirt. It seems very likely this was an employee t-shirt, given the "Apple Specialist" designation on the sleeve. Tekserve was New York City's "Original Apple Store" long before The Apple Store existed. They closed the doors of their retail operations in 2016. My guess is that this shirt was produced sometime between 1993 and 1998. It is my understanding that Tekserve became officially authorized by Apple in 1993. Since they are directly using Apple's logo on the shirt, I would think it would have to be produced after that date. Also, Apple had stopped using the rainbow logo by 1998, so that logically would be the latest possible date of production. Condition Details Graphics have some wear (See 16th-19th Photos for examples). While it is likely that the rear “disintegrating apple” graphic has some wear as well, the general design makes it all but impossible to tell. It could just be my lights, but the white areas of the back graphic appear a bit yellowed (of course, I do not know for certainty if the color was stark white to begin with or not). The black is maybe a bit faded, but not to the degree of it being really noticeable (Essentially I am assuming it must be at least a little faded since the shirt is over 25 years old). Has a few little jutting strings on outer seams (See 20th/21st Photos) and a bit more on inner seams (See 22nd Photo for example). Surface of fabric has some wear including minor pilling (See Last 2 Photos for examples). Fabric has wrinkles and has picked up quite a bit of lint. Does not have any tears, stains, or unpleasant odors. In short, certainly used but in generally solid condition for its age. Please see included photos.
